GUI APPLICATION THAT ALLOWS USERS TO INTERACT WITH SPATIAL DATA USING JAVA (Nov 2015- Dec 2015)

Fetches all required regions from the oracle database and shows it in the GUI. Database project.

BREATH ANALYSIS AND ACCURATE DISCERNMENT OF ASTHMATIC WHEEZES

• Developed a user-friendly, accurate, and moderately inexpensive prototype hardware device kit that records and stores the user’s PEF (peak expiratory flow) , and graphs this data over time. Used an android app to show the values read and plotted over time. Similar to a home blood pressure monitor kit.

• Useful for asthmatic patients as it uses a blow/pressure sensor to capture user's expiratory flow.

MOVIE RESERVATION SYSTEM USING C++

Imitation of an online movie ticket booking system.

MODELLED ROBOCON (ROBOT) SYSTEM USING GME TOOL (JAN 2016-APRIL 2016)

As a requirements engineer gathered requirements of Robocon System.
Used tools and techniques to analyze the requirements and to produce models and metamodels using GME (Generic Modelling Environment) software tool.

STOCK MARKET APPLICATION (Jan 2016-April 2016)

Developed web and android application that allows users to search for stock information of many different companies using MarkitOnDemand API and FacebookAPI.
Features include auto-complete of input searches, automatic refresh, favorite the stock companies, yahoo chart plot and displays Bing news feed of the searched company.

SEARCH ENGINE WITH AUTO COMPLETION, SPELL CHECK AND SPELL CORRECTION (AUG 2016 - DEC 2016)

• Used crawler4j, an open source web crawler to crawl the New York Times and BBC News web pages using multi threaded crawlers.
• Indexed the 2 web pages using Apache Solr.
• Ranked the crawled data using Solr-Apache Lucene and PageRank algorithm and compared the 2 ranking strategies for relevancy.
• Developed a simple HTML user interface consisting of a search bar to showcase search, auto complete, spell check and spell correction functions via HTTPRequests to Solr.

NEWLETTE COINS (AUG 2016 - DEC 2016)

• Newlette Coins is an addictive HTML5 game built using Phaser.js and Spring Framework.
• Collaborated with a team of 7 to develop this game for the client CrazyCoolApps LLC.
• Primarily played the role of Requirements Engineer and UML Modeler.
• Also mainly responsible for leading the UX team for designing and developing important game assets and animations which is crucial to any game.
